January | Identify potential candidates for office. |
February | Confirm tentative nomination with identified members and notify Executive Board of state. Review NLC RN of the Year nomination and submit as appropriate. |
March | Present slate of candidates to NLC Board Provide candidate names to Secretary so ballot can be developed and sent to members. |
April | Membership votes on NLC board candidates.President confirms chair and co-chair appointees. |
May | Identify potential nominee(s) for ACNL Leadership award |
June | Confirm ACNL Leadership nomination with NLC Board. Review Nursing Hall of Fame nomination and submit as appropriate Board. |
July/August | Complete nomination forms to be submitted to ACNL |
September | Submit central valley leadership award nomination to ACNL |
October/November | Begin to identify potential candidate slate for the following year. |
